Air Quality Monitoring

Section 16 (1) and (5) of the Factories and Other Places of Work (Hazardous Substances) Rules, 2007 of the stipulates that in every workplace where hazardous substances are used, the employer shall ensure that measurements of the substances in the air are carried out at least once every twelve months by a certified air quality monitor, in order to determine the prevailing occupational exposure levels.
